
Dr. Jennifer Ree
Dr. Jennifer Ree is a board-certified veterinary surgeon with a passion for improving the lives of animals through advanced surgical care.
A Bay Area native, Dr. Ree earned her veterinary degree from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She went on to complete a rigorous rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Missouri, followed by a specialized surgical internship at VCA Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, NY. She completed her surgical residency at Oregon State University in 2016 and returned to Northern California, where she spent four years in referral practice before becoming board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2020. Since then, she has been providing mobile surgical services throughout the Bay Area, making advanced surgical care more accessible for pets and their families.
Dr. Ree has a professional interest in orthopedic surgery—including procedures such as TPLO, patellar luxation correction, and fracture repair—as well as a deep appreciation for soft tissue surgery. She is known for her thoughtful, collaborative approach to patient care and her dedication to high surgical standards.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Ree lives in the South Bay with her husband, her energetic cattle dog mix Lettie, and her senior long-haired cat, Sulley. She enjoys TV watching, movies, reading, and going to as many Dave Matthews Band shows as possible.

Dr. Justin Williams
Dr. Justin Williams brings over a decade of specialized expertise in veterinary cardiology. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Williams pursued his veterinary medical degree at Colorado State University, graduating in 2007. He then completed an intensive internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver, Colorado. His passion for cardiology led him to Boston, where he completed a rigorous three-year cardiology residency at the MSPCA Angell Animal Medical Center. In 2011, Dr. Williams achieved board certification in cardiology from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM).
Originally hailing from Arizona, Dr. Williams now enjoys the diverse landscapes of California with his wife, Emily, and their three children. An outdoor enthusiast, he can often be found fly-fishing, hiking, or capturing nature through photography. In his downtime, remains active by playing ice hockey.

Dr. Bill Rivers
Dr. Rivers graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1984 then spent a one-year rotating internship in surgery, internal medicine, radiology, and emergency/critical care medicine with Dr. Steven Ettinger, editor of the standard reference textbook Veterinary Internal Medicine, Diseases of the Dog and Cat, in Los Angeles. Following his internship training, Dr. Rivers spent several years in private small animal practice in the San Francisco Bay Area before completing radiology training at the University of Minnesota in Saint Paul in 1993. He stayed on as a Staff Radiologist and Clinical Instructor while completing a PhD degree in Comparative Radiology in 1995. While at Minnesota, he also worked as a primary care doctor in local small animal hospitals and emergency clinics as well as private practice radiology consulting.
In 1996 Dr. Rivers was invited to serve as Visiting Instructor and Staff Radiologist at the School of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University and became board-certified in Veterinary Radiology by the American College of Veterinary Radiology that same year. After spending a year at a private veterinary radiology consulting practice in Dallas in 1997, Dr. Rivers returned to the Bay Area and established his consulting practice in early 1999. Dr. Rivers has published over twenty clinical research papers in small animal radiology, emphasizing the use of diagnostic radiology and ultrasonography in small animal medicine and surgery.
He has also been an invited contributor for book chapters in the reference series Veterinary Clinics of North America – Small Animal Practice, and has served as an invited reviewer for the clinical journal Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound.
